Huntingdon Rugby Club, Midlands 3 East (South)

Cameron Glanvill has accepted the position of Head Coach at the club for season 2008/9.

Cameron played for Bedford Blues and coached Cambridge until they achieved National League status before coaching at Huntingdon in 2005/6.

He has taken a couple of years out due to business commitments and is now keen to get back involved in club rugby. He is an astute tactical coach, doesn't suffer fools and is known to partake of the occasional after-match pint.

Tuesday 29th July: Official rugby training begins on every Tuesday and Thursday from then on. Sessions will be at Hinchingbrooke, on grass until end of September
and then on the new floodlit artificial surface, which is approved by the
RFU for contact rugby, (i.e. no astro burns!).

23rd August: first pre-season friendly (at home)

13th September: first league game at home against Leicester Forest.

16 August, Twickenham

All the premiership clubs will be represented, plus the British (Fijian) Army and possibly a Welsh side to make up the numbers.
